Robert C. Farr, MD

I love my profession! To be a physician allows me the privileged
opportunity to interact with patients on a very personal level. Every
patient is a distinct individual whose problem will be the focus of my
efforts. I will strive to listen and understand your specific problem,
before applying the most advanced medical care possible.

I strive to stay abreast of the newest advancements in my specialty
through continuing medical education programs and relevant medical journals in order to advance your medical care. Whether it is ear, sinus, thyroid disease, or head and neck cancer, I look forward to helping you with your problem or, if necessary, assisting you in navigating through the medical community.

A graduate of the School of Medicine of the University of Washington, I subsequently completed a six-year residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Tennessee. I became a Fellow of the American Board of Otolaryngology in 1992. Locally, I have been involved in medical staff leadership at Kootenai Medical Center for over ten years and Chief of Staff for two years. I am part owner and a founding board member of Kootenai Outpatient Surgery, a joint venture with Kootenai Medical Center. At the discretion of the Mayor of Coeur d'Alene, I served on the Board of Directors of the Coeur d'Alene Public Library for four years and as chairman for two years.
